Major Introduction
Mechanical Engineering plays a vital role in various industrial applications, such as system design, energy-related technology and development of manufacturing techniques in combination with such future technological areas as IT, NT, ET and BT. It extends to the technology of the fourth industrial revolution. The major aims to foster engineers who lead engineering industry and contribute to the development of technology. The curriculum includes the theory and practice of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, solid mechanics, kinetics, instrumentation engineering and manufacturing engineering. It also offers Masters and Ph.D programs.
